The Foundation: Birth of the National Truck Center
The history of the Hino Rive-Sud dealership began with the creation of the Centre du Camion National in 1991.
From the outset, the company's mission has been to offer high-quality mechanical services to transportation professionals, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Remarkable growth
With growing demand for its services, the National Truck Center is expanding its capacity to a total of 10 service units, reinforcing its position as a major player in truck repair and maintenance.
A strategic turning point: the acquisition of a commercial building
To pursue its development, the company acquires a commercial building in the Boucherville industrial park.
This new infrastructure will enable us to set up a repair center for trucks and trailers of all makes, while maintaining an efficient, responsive roadside assistance service.
Major expansion: the birth of Hino, South Shore
The company reaches a key milestone by integrating a new activity: the Hino truck dealership, a first on the South Shore of Montreal. With this diversification, Groupe National Hino Rive-Sud is born, now offering new and used truck sales services, as well as the sale of Hino parts. This expansion marks a decisive turning point in the company's growth.
A strategic merger and blistering growth
In January 2016, faced with the exceptional growth of its activities, the Centre du Camion National and Hino Rive-Sud merged to create Le Groupe National Hino Rive-Sud.
This merger will enable us to offer a complete range of services, from roadside assistance to truck sales and maintenance, thus strengthening our market position.
In June of the same year, the group celebrates its 25th anniversary with an exclusive Hino clinic. For the occasion, Hino engineers from Japan carry out a complete 100-point inspection on each truck, offering our customers expertise and service of exceptional quality.

In 2018, the company reaches a new milestone with the merger of Hino Rive-Sud and Hino Drummondville.
This strategic alliance will enable us to extend our services and expertise to a wider customer base, consolidating our presence in Quebec.
